brief 18hr stay in SF over the weekend

I'm glad USC WON!!! because it made leaving LA at 11pm on Friday and coming back to LA at 930am Sunday worthwhile. The rain was miserable but we dealt with it. The waves of Trojans at the tri-city bar block was quite a sight, reminding me of the row. If anyone has not experienced the weekender, then you should. You will be cold, tired, drunk, but at the same time you will have lots of fun..that is if you are a Trojan. hahha.

So why does LA not have a subway system?

*LATE ANNOUCEMENT* for this event happening today

L.A. Project Presented by PAPER Magazine
November 7-11

For the third year in a row, we here at PAPER are bringing it to the City of Angels. We're putting together our annual L.A. issue and throwing a series of art events, concerts, dance parties, dinners and much, much more! All in the name of celebrating Los Angeles!

First things first, the L.A. Project storefront, designed by Barbara Bestor, is located at 233 South LaBrea (near 3rd Street) and is open to the public from November 8 to November 11.

In order to properly invade L.A., we'll be bringing some of our favorite non-LA peeps -- Sarah and Nadège of Paris-based, super-, super-cool legendary boutique Colette, those lovable, long-haired, matchy-matchy fellows Andrew Andrew, Ludlow Street staple-slash-artist Marc Razo, Polaroid snapper Henny Garfunkel and photographer/filmmaker Cheryl Dunn.

the crazy artist Neckface is at it again..with Vans Shoes

if you see these. please let me know! other than that. cop one yourself. peace!
